BLOG 5: UPDATE…

Well…not much to update on the job front. I’m applying, trying to make the best choice for me and my wife, but it is a slow go. It’s somewhat frustrating in that I seem to be missing that one little thing that an employer is looking for. I read the job posting and I’m like…OK…OK….OK…oh, you have to have this thing that I’ve never done and I don’t apply. And, again, I’m really looking for Monday-Friday during the day, regular hours. If I don’t get some kind of positive response or interview or something soon, I’m going to have to up the applications for sure. And, again, the lack of responses is the thing that is bugging me. If I’m not what you need or want, then just TELL ME and I’ll move on. I’ve only had one application that did that and it was refreshing almost. I’ll get off your radar, you’ll be off my radar and we’ll both move on. But, don’t tuck your response on a portal, just automate an email to me, dude. That’s it. We’ll both move on.

As for non-job related update…tonight is the debut of VisionQuest on Disney+ and I can’t wait for it. It’s the third in a trilogy of shows revolving around Wanda Maximoff (aka The Scarlet Witch) and Vision. Wandavision was the first show, Agatha All Along was the second show and now we got VisionQuest. James Spader, who did the voice of Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron, is in the show. Obviously, Paul Bettany is playing Vision. I’ve seen trailers and previews and everything looks fantastic. I believe two episodes tonight and I will be tuned in.
